Founded in 1983 by the Dequenne family, DEQUACHIM is a Belgian company with extensive expertise in the production and marketing of aluminium salts (aluminium sulphate, sodium aluminate, potassium aluminate), boehmites, aluminium oxide and potassium nitrate.
Our 7-hectare site is in an ideal location in the heart of Europe, between Brussels and Lille and on the Nimy-Blaton canal.
Together with our industrial partners from a wide range of sectors and market segments, we co-create and develop high-quality products.
DEQUACHIM is ISO 9001-certified and has been licensed for more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical and water purification industries.
Since 2004, DEQUACHIM has been recognised by the Walloon Region as a recovery centre for hazardous and non-hazardous waste containing aluminium. After a technical and economic feasibility study, the by-products generated are given a second life.
In 2007, the spin-off company DEQUENNE CHIMIE was founded with a view to diversifying the Group’s products and markets.
In 2020, it incorporated the activities of the DEQUACHIM Group.
Today, our company has about 40 employees and exports more than 70% of its production, mainly to Europe but also around the world.
